Ingredients
- 28 ounces (830 mL) can crushed tomatoes
- 28 ounces (830 mL) can diced tomatoes
- 1 tbsp crushed garlic
- 14 ounces (415 mL, 2 cups) can chicken broth
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/3 cup (75 g) butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 15-20 basil leaves
Recipe
- Combine the tomatoes, broth and garlic, bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low, stir in the sugar and the butter, mix until dissolved.
- Pour in the heavy cream until combined. Chop the basil and stir in.
