Ingredients
Almonds
- 3/4 cups (1 pound 450 g) sliced almonds
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp (7 g) butter
- 1/3 tsp cinnamon
- 1/6 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- salt
Salad
- 12 ounces (340 g) baby spinach
- 2 avocados
- ¾ cup cranberries
- ¾ cup candied almonds
- goat cheese
Dressing
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp poppy seeds
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1/8 tsp paprika
- 1/8 tsp mustard
- 1/2 tsp minced onion
- pinch salt and pepper
- 1 1/2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Recipe
Almonds
- Melt sugar in a pan until caramelized.
- Lower heat, add butter and spices, stir.
- Add almonds. Stir regularly until almonds are browned.
- Put to cool on a baking mat, sprinkle with sea salt.
Dressing
- Combine all ingredients in a glass jar and shake
Salad
- Wash and cut the salad.
- Slice the avocado. Mix in a bowl with salad.
- Add the cranberries and the almonds.
- Crumble the goat cheese.
- Add sauce, toss.
