Sundried tomato pasta

Ingredients

  • 400 g penne pasta
  • 2 chorizo sausages
  • 2 tbsp (28 g) butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 1/3 cup sun dried tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp basil
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Recipe

  1. Cook pasta.
  2. Slice chorizo. Heat some olive oil in pan, cook chorizo (4 min, medium-high, until brown). Drain on paper towel.
  3. Mince garlic. Add butter to pan, cook garlic (2 min). Add flour, whisk and cook until browned (1 min). Add chicken broth and cook, whisking (1 min, don’t thicken ?).
  4. Mince sundried tomatoes. Grate Parmesan. Stir in cream, tomatoes, parmesan, herbs and spices, let thicken a bit (1 min). Adjust seasoning.
  5. Add in pasta and chorizo, mix in.
