28/02/2022: made with 2 tbsp chicken powder, 15 min cooking, full milk, 40 g butter, 16 g truffle oil, 46 g cream cheese, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp additional salt. I find it too liquid. I think it serves 4 more than 8.
Ingredients
- 3 pounds (1.3 kg) potatoes
- 1–2 tbsp chicken stock powder
- 1 1/4 cups milk (237 g, 232 mL)
- 1/4 cup butter (56 g)
- 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Recipe
- Peel and dice potatoes.
- Place potatoes in a pot and cover with water above the potatoes, dissolve chicken stock.
- Simmer potatoes until cooked through.
- Drain potatoes, add milk, butter, cream cheese, and garlic powder. Mash.
- Salt potatoes (it needs a lot).
