Pesto

3-4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • a handful of pine nuts
  • parmesan (like a third of a block?)
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • optional: lemon

Recipe

  1. Blend pine nuts and garlic.
  2. Grate parmesan and add.
  3. Add basil and pulse blend to not overheat the leaves.
  4. Add a pinch of salt, and then olive oil, to have a paste but not too oily.
  5. Something that works really well is lemon zest and a bit of lemon juice.
