Tomato creamy sauce

2-4 servings

goes well with chicken, probably would go well with a fish. ton of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 340 g grape tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream 
  • 1/4 cup pesto (maybe rather 1/2 cup)

Recipe

  1. Mince the garlic (2 cloves). Halve the tomatoes (340g).
  2. Heat olive oil on medium-low heat in a pan. Add garlic and tomatoes, cook for ~5 minutes until tomatoes are bursting.
  3. Cook more for a deeper caramelization, less for a lighter flavored sauce.
  4. Add heavy cream (1/2 cup, or less?) and pesto (1/4 cup, or more?).
  5. Simmer, taste, adjust flavors.
  6. If cooking with chicken or fish, cook them before then bring back into the sauce to warm up.
