Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup (75 g) butter, cold & grated
- 3/4 cup grated cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped chives or green onions
- 1/2 cup sourdough starter
Recipe
- Oven: 425 °F = 218 °C.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix the butter in until crumbles.
- Stir in the grated cheese and chives. Then slowly add as much sourdough starter as needed until a soft dough forms.
- Turn out dough onto a floured surface and knead over a couple of times. Flatten the dough and cut into 4 large or 8 small biscuits.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes.
